Our engineers design and optimise audio system components.

State-of-the-art consumer and pro audio systems often require bespoke test solutions.  We work with clients in the audio industry to aid their design and optimisation processes.

Our acoustic facilities provide ideal conditions for evaluating the electro-acoustic performance of various audio devices and systems.  We are experienced and well-equipped to perform a wide range of audio system measurements of loudspeaker systems, microphones, wearable acoustic devices and other pro- or consumer audio products.

Based on the latest measurement and numerical modelling techniques, we also offer consultancy services in product design and development as well as in quality control procedures for manufacturers.

Our testing capabilities include:

  • Impulse response
  • Frequency response
  • Sensitivity and maximum level
  • Directivity
  • Harmonic distortion
  • Intermodulation distortion
  • Total distortion using multi-tone stimuli
  • Cross-talk
  • Electrical impedance of loudspeakers
  • Passive and active noise attenuation assessment of wearable devices
  • Predicting speech intelligibility in noisy environments

We also provide acoustic measurement and design services for bespoke listening rooms and other acoustically designed audio facilities.  Our capabilities include multi-channel audio measurements for the complete evaluation of sensitive listening spaces as well as ray-tracing based complex room acoustics modelling.  Using our reverberation chambers, we also measure the acoustic performance and properties of room treatment systems, partitions and materials.
